How would your life be different if you hadn’t joined Sigma Chi?

Brother Marty Ueland ’66 said that he owes many of his blessings to Beta Delta Chapter.

“I was a shy, naïve and quiet guy when I came to college in 1961 from a little ranch life outside of Butte, MT. That first week going through rush was maybe the best part of my life. The excitement and the members of Sigma Chi were inspirational.

My personality was changed forever. Was I the luckiest person? I have to say that from then on my curiosity of life in so many ways came from that group of brothers in the Sigma Chi Fraternity. At this day of 73 years old I am working with passion and still think of the experiences we enjoyed during my days in the house at Beta Delta in Missoula. I am very blessed with good health, discipline and wonderful family and business. Much of that was developed at the Sigma Chi house.”
